Don't Rock the Jukebox

Fridays-Sundays
Don't Rock the Jukebox is an original musical play written & directed by Jon-Michael Williford, presented in conjunction with Playhouse Smithville
Playhouse Smithville takes you back to the 1980's & 90's and invites you to Buddy's Karaoke Bar! Where the staff is like family, for better or worse, and the patrons come to sing & dance to their favorite Country songs in celebration of life's events; and just as often to soothe heartache or break. The Master of Ceremonies is aspiring Country Music star Cole Kidd (Brandon Flippo) who is poised for a bigger stage to shine on, while bar owner and namesake Buddy riles up the regulars with rumors of him getting back with ex-wife (again).
A surprise visit from Buddy's older brother Chuck helps to further spice up an evening that already includes a lively bachelorette party, some feisty local schoolteachers, a lovelorn barfly, and some pool hustling teens.
