Percy Talbott, a young woman recently released from prison, moves to a small town in Maine called Gilead. She starts working at the Spitfire Grill, an old restaurant owned by Hannah Ferguson, a feisty and stubborn woman. As Percy works to turn the Grill into a successful business, she also learns about the secrets and struggles of the town’s residents and finds a sense of belonging in her new home. The musical explores themes of redemption, forgiveness, and the importance of community.
