Mélange Theatre Company welcomes fall with the World Premiere of Rita Anderson’s Death on the Half Shell (Two Comic Tales on Death & the Absurdities of Life). The play consists of two award-winning one-acts:

Part I: Threes is a spin on the urban legend: “All actors die in threes,” as three actors—former classmates whose careers took very different turns—meet up at the Advance Obituary Office, after their 15-minutes of fame has faded.
 
Part II: Final Conversations explores a Mother’s wish to have one real conversation with her Son before he is gone. --One morning, Mother knows Son has an hour to live and, with a kitchen-sink approach, she attempts to get their final words to each other “right,” using often absurd methods to reach him, none of which alters destiny.
