Press Junket: In the Bluff

In this immersive experience, a press junket is being held to promote a (fictitious) film called In the Bluff, a soon-to-be-released romantic comedy about strip poker. Included in the cast is Johnny Wake-up, a famous card-player recognizable from his televised triumph in the World Series of Poker.
Upon arrival, each guest will be greeted as a member of the press and given the opportunity to interview the film's director and cast members who have come for the press junket. Sample interview questions will be provided, and guests are also free to make up their own.
Each ticket comes with a free beverage—coffee, tea, or a mimosa—and guests may purchase additional beverages from the venue, Austin’s beautiful Vintage Bookstore & Wine Bar.
The experience lasts approximately 75 minutes. Zero preparation is required, of course—just come take a coffee break (or a mimosa break) and have a good time!

Press Junket: In the Bluff is an immersive theatre experience that plunks you right down into the heart of the film industry! Although not an official SX event, the performance takes place March 14-16, 2023, during SXSW Film & TV week.
