Brian, a true crime writer, receives a late-night visitor claiming to have all the details of a murder that has not happened yet. Defying pleas from his wife and his own better judgement to report this to the police, Brian decides to interview the stranger. Dana, Brian’s wife, becomes fearful Brian may be sympathizing with the murderer, as Brian helplessly allows himself to be drawn deeper into the plot.

Stranger in the Attic is a fast-moving, suspense-driven thriller with colorful characters, surprising plot twists, and a generous sprinkling of comic relief.

Martin Vidal (recently in Present Laughter) is directing a cast of several new faces for the BCT stage.

Earl Franklin is Brian; Mandy Gothard plays Dana, his wife. Kendrick, the visitor, is portrayed by Josh Davis. Frank Martinez (Doublewide, TX) is Hal; Jacob Davis (brother to Josh) is Douglas. Sarah Coyle is Margaret, the neighbor's wife. The Davis brothers and Franklin are new to the BCT stage; Gothard appeared in our recent ActIII@BCT showcase. Martinez has worked on and offstage for several productions including California Suite. Coyle recently joined our board as Treasurer. She was the assistant director for Present Laughter and even performed a role the first weekend when a cast member was ill!

Our co-producer is Scott Temple.
