The Pact is a play about family, pizza, climate change, dating apps, and fringe religious sects…in that order!
Directed by Will Gibson Douglas, the play stars Natalie D. Garcia, David R. Jarrott, Jennifer Jennings, Lisa Scheps, and introduces Hannah Schochler in her Austin professional theatre debut!
The Jarrott Productions creative team for The Pact includes scenic and lighting design by Alison Lewis, costume design by Aaron Flynn, technical direction by Frederick Demps, sound design by Craig Brock, audio engineering by Rodd Simonson, and stage management by Isabella Anastasia Leigh.
This is Jarrott Production's first collaboration with Langert, a playwright, producer and storyteller living in Austin, whose plays have been performed not only here but also in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Dallas and elsewhere.
This world premiere is the lead-off production in JP’s first full live Main Stage season in three years! Other plays this season are Adam Rapp’s The Sound Inside and Jane Anderson’s Mother of the Maid, which was in rehearsal in March 2020 when the theatre world shut down due to the Covid pandemic.
