Beverly Matthews, an affluent woman, is on a train ride with her husband Wendall. Her prized, and very pricey, necklace has been stolen. Everyone on the train is a suspect, and it is up to Detective Bryson Jones and his sidekick, Luke Connors, to solve the mystery. Could it be Barton Trask, the famed director? Could it be Wanda Frankenberger, a slightly famous actress? Or could it be the train's own engineer, Jack Casey?
