Mark Twain's The Diaries of Adam & Eve
by Unity Theatre
Oct. 29 - Nov. 08, 2020
Thursdays-Sundays
This uniquely, theatrical piece is funny and also moving as we take a light- hearted look at first love and the first battle of the sexes! In the beginning, Adam is puzzled by the new arrival in the garden and he is suspicious of her disturbing appetite for fruit. Eve, believing herself to be some sort of important experiment, is very curious and wants to name everything new she finds, much to Adam’s annoyance. Adam never gets a chance to name anything because Eve always beats him to it, whether it’s the discovery of fire or water running uphill. With wit and poignancy and many trials and tribulations, they come to know and love each other.

Playing October 29 - November 8, 2020
We will produce "Mark Twain’s The Diaries of Adam and Eve" by David Birney in its allotted time slot. Although a Studio Series production, it will be performed on the Main Stage to allow for social distancing for those patrons wishing to attend in person. For those that are not yet comfortable coming to the theatre, I have obtained the digital rights, and we will be providing an online showing – more information to come! The two actors performing this show are a real-life married couple, Alan Brincks and Faith Fossett so I am obviously very comfortable providing them a safe experience here at Unity.
