Fridays-Sundays

You are invited to roll on over to the Palace Theatre in Georgetown for a night of high-octane Western entertainment: “Pump boys” L.M., Jackson, Jim, and Eddie, and the “dinettes” next door (sisters Prudie and Rhetta Cupp) fashion an evening of lively song and dance that is sure to entertain the whole family! Pump Boys and Dinettes is a musical written by a performance group of the same name. The group consists of John Foley, Mark Hardwick, Debra Monk, Cass Morgan, John Schimmel, and Jim Wann. The members additionally directed and starred in the Broadway production.

Pump Boys and Dinettes tells the story of four men who work at a gas station and two waitresses who work at the "Double Cupp Diner," a dinette, located somewhere between Frog Level and Smyrna, North Carolina.  The music is mostly from the country rock/pop music genres. They perform on guitars, piano, bass, and kitchen utensils.

In this Palace production of Pump Boys and Dinettes, Michael Rafferty plays the role of LM; Leah Knight is Jackson; Wil Pintauro-Tabares plays Jim; Ann Richards is Prudie Cupp; and Jane Schwartz plays the role of Prudie’s sister, Rhetta.  Lannie Hilboldt is Director; Jonathan Borden, Music Director; Jesee Smart, Assistant Director/Choreographer; Maria Kruger, Stage Manager; Chris Hanson, Assistant Stage Manager; and Barbara Sperberg, Costume Design.
