A raíz de este trauma, nos preguntamos ¿Qué hemos heredado? ¿Nos gusta sufrir o ser manipulados? ¿Quedarnos callados y no quejarnos? ¿Vivimos inconscientemente o es que nos gusta vivir así?
What have we inherited as a result of this trauma? Do we like to suffer or be manipulated? Remain quiet and not complain? Do we make decisions subconsciously or do we choose to live like this?
ProyectoTeatro arranca su décima-quinta temporada de cartelera con “MX499: Los Hijos del Águila”, un montaje teatral donde 9 actores se sumergen en los expedientes históricos de México para desenterrar el ADN psicológico y emocional de la gente que vivió los eventos más trascendentales del país durante los últimos 499 años.

El proyecto usa el escenario como un laboratorio para identificar los complejos psicológicos, las mentalidades colectivas y los traumas sociales que se han ido pasando de generación a generación. Un hilo narrativo de teatro, danza y movimiento va hilvanando cinco siglos de emociones y vivencias para construir el análisis del mexicano contemporáneo y del México fragmentado de hoy.
A raíz de este trauma, nos preguntamos ¿Qué hemos heredado? ¿Nos gusta sufrir o ser manipulados? ¿Quedarnos callados y no quejarnos? ¿Vivimos inconscientemente o es que nos gusta vivir así?

Performers turn the stage into a laboratory to identify the psychological complexes, the collective mentalities and the social
traumas that have been passed on from generation to generation. A narrative thread of theater, dance and movement stitches
together five centuries of emotions and experiences to build a comprehensive analysis of the contemporary Mexican and the
fragmented Mexico of today.
