Aquila Theatre is one of the foremost producers of touring classical theatre in the United States. Based in New York, the company's mission is to "bring the greatest works to the greatest numbers," which they accomplish by performing in 50-60 American cities per year. The company also has an extensive international reach, traveling abroad with its repertoire of two plays, workshops, and educational programs. Aquila has performed at the White House on two separate occasions and has received a Chairman's Special Award from the National Endowment for the Humanities for its innovative applied theatre public programming.  Performances in the Stieren Theatre in the Ruth Taylor Theatre Building on Trinity's upper campus.
