From the author of the 2017 ATAC Award-Winning drama, “Jackson Square”, comes a 1940s detective noir / historical fiction about the man who wrote the screenplays for “The Maltese Falcon” and “The Thin Man,” as well as numerous “hard-boiled” detective novels.
Leonard leverages the Film Noir Detective archetypes and tough dialogue Hammett made famous with actual quotes from the public domain notorious House Un-American Activities Committee hearings to create a suspenseful crime drama blend of fact and fiction.
