We're doing it again, ya'll. Join us for the 4th annual 14/48 Festival in Austin!

Seven world-premiere plays are written, cast, directed, rehearsed, scored, designed, and performed (twice!) in 24 hours. Then we do it all over again the next night with seven totally new scripts! It’s exhausting, exhilarating, and totally wild. 14/48 brings together artists from all parts of the Austin performance world to take crazy, creative, and delightful risks.

For an audience member, it's a hell of a ride.

14/48, the world's quickest theater festival, is dedicated to creating a supportive environment for radical artistic collaboration.  The festival presents original works of the highest quality while forging new connections between artists and artistic disciplines.

14/48 is a growing community of more than 1000 writers, actors, directors, musicians and visual artists whose method uses seemingly impossible deadlines and elements of chance to invigorate the creative process. Artist participation is by invitation only and is predicated on the most rigorous, professional standards.
