Great Gold Bird, Great Dark Yawn, a wanderplay by Katie Green

Audio logs, puzzles, responsive text commands, an original score, and the exact geo coordinates of a secret journal can all be remotely accessed on your smart phone.  You must be physically  present in various mystery locations in order to interact with the gaming platform, and advance the story.  I intend for this project to span the course of a month, as it should take 4-8 hours to complete, depending on how deeply you explore and how long it takes you to solve.  It can be spread out, or crammed into one weekend.  It can be experienced on one’s own time, and in the company of whomever one likes (or alone).  With the availability of a hint hotline, even the difficulty level can be adjusted.  It’s an intimate experience tailored to your preferences and schedule.  There are no physically present actors in this play.  Instead, letters, mementos, home movies, sketchbooks, and journal entries are used for storytelling.
