Office Manager - Magik Performing Arts Center

The Magik Theatre is seeking an organized, creative, friendly, and professional individual to manage the day-to-day office operations at our new northside location, Magik Performing Arts Center (MPAC), 5359 Casa Bella, San Antonio, Texas 78249. This individual will report directly to the MPAC Manager.

Duties include:

  • Communicating via phone, email and in person with parents of students in Magik Education programs.
  • Maintaining a clean office and facility appearance to ensure that MPAC is always presentable.
  • Design and implement office policies and procedures.
  • Management of any additional office staff workers and schedules.
  • Staying well informed of educational and artistic programming for both locations.
  • Being present and available for registration, class arrival and dismissal, and assisting the teaching staff with administrative tasks when necessary.
  • Work with administrative staff in regards to inventory and ordering of office supplies and bill pay.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and standard social media sites
  • Able to communicate with students, parents and patrons in an efficient, professional, and friendly manner
  • Able to use standard office equipment
  • Work well with deadlines and under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Photoshop or another graphic design software, and/or Blackbaud Hosting experience a plus
  • Arts education or studio experience a plus
  • Valid Texas driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in office management or registration management
