To honor the authors’ vision and to clearly and appropriately tell the story, the roles will be cast according to the character definitions as written in the script. Directed by Felipe Garcia, choreography by Gene Tapia, and music direction by Xavier Jaramillo, In the Heights runs Oct. 3-Nov. 2 on the historic Springer Stage.
Another comedy from Jones Hope Wooten, Dashing Through the Snow, kicks off the holiday season in the Playhouse. It’s four days before Christmas in the tiny town of Tinsel, Texas, and a colorful parade of eccentric guests arrive at the Snowflake Inn and deck the halls with holiday hilarity. Directed by Molly Fonseca, the show runs Nov. 28-Dec. 30 at the Playhouse, 8th Street entrance.
We will announce two additional shows as soon as contracts are finalized, but what we can say is that one is a holiday favorite and the other is a classic mystery. See you at the Palace!
