Virtual General Meeting on June 14 to Discuss and Vote on Closure of Way Off Broadway Community Players, Leander

Hello to our valued patrons and supporters,

As some of you know, we weren’t granted a permit to build out the space we leased, and the projected cost of buildout was far higher than anticipated. Our real-estate attorney has advised us that due to being unable to continue paying the lease, we need to close the organization as soon as is feasible.

We’ll have our virtual Annual General Meeting this Wednesday June 14 at 7 p.m. At that meeting, we’ll discuss closing and ask members to vote on it. If you're a Member, you should be getting an email with a Zoom link. If you're not a member, you can join at wobcp.org. (Click "Support" then "WOBCP Membership.")

We’re grieved that it's come to this. You’ve supported us through the years, and this isn’t the direction any of us wanted this to go.

But we also want to celebrate twenty-five seasons full of laughter, drama, mystery, and more. Please join us this Thursday June 15 at 7 p.m. at Leanderthal Distilling, where we’ll raise a glass to the great memories we all have.
