Video Promo by Taylor Flanagan: TWELFTH NIGHT by William Shakespeare, Something for Nothing Theatre at Ramsey Park, June 7 - 23, 2018
(video by Taylor Flanagan)
Join us at Ramsey Park for a lively Shakespearean comedy that's full of music, mistaken identity, mayhem, multiple marriages, madcap mischief, and mirth! Something for Nothing Theater presents Twelfth Night under the summer stars for three weekends in June. Travel to Illyria, where multiple suitors desperately court a grieving heiress, while her family and servants scheme to teach the town’s wet blanket a lesson he won’t soon forget. What will happen when a shipwreck at sea throws a captivating stranger (or two) onto the shores of this town already on the brink of complete absurdity? You have 9 chances to find out!
The tradition of free Shakespeare in Ramsey Park continues with our 2018 summer show. Our company produces plays with minimal props, costumes, and lighting, focusing instead on storytelling, and the wonderful language of Shakespeare. As always, our show will be under two hours. Bring a blanket or chairs, pack a picnic, invite some friends, and join us for a delightful journey to the distant yet familiar land of Illyria!

Something for Nothing Theater was founded on the belief that Shakespeare’s works, at their best, are performed with a minimum amount of gimmick and a great deal of heart. The company produces accessible, family-friendly Shakespeare on a shoestring budget, and discovers all performances through the creative act of play.
