Vive Les Arts Theatre, Killeen : General Meeting on August 1, 2017 to Endorse or Oppose Board Recommendation to Close
Vive Les Arts Societe will be holding a general membership meeting on August 1, 2017. This meeting will take place at 6:00 pm, at Vive Les Arts Theatre, 3401 S. WS Young Dr. The public is invited, but only current members may vote. Please arrive early with your ID to check in.
To be a current member of the Vive Les Arts Societe, individuals must hold a 2016-2017 season membership.
Season memberships can be purchased through July 31.
Individual Adult $100- 6 Flex Passes
Individual Student and Senior $70- 6 Flex Passes
Agenda for August 1st General Membership Meeting
-Accept resignation of board members issuing letters of resignation
-Discuss financial health of Vive Les Arts Theatre
-Discuss the options for Vive Les Arts Theatre to continue operations
-Hold Membership Vote to either uphold the vote to close or reverse the vote and remain open
-Upon voting to remain open; accept nominations for new board members
-Upon voting to close; arrange a date, time and location to begin discussing steps and tasks for dissolution
The new board of directors requirements and responsibilities include:
-Discussing continuation of Vive Les Arts Theatre
-Examine finances with council of accountants
-Restructure the organization
-Appoint a committee to reconstitute and revise Bylaws for Vive Les Arts Theatre
-Hire a business director
