Bastrop Opera House announces an open call for a female actor to create a role in an upcoming musical.

The role open is for an over forty-year-old character who is the manager of a small town VFW hall. The actress sings a solo number and has small ensemble work with five other characters. 

Performances are March 28 thorugh 30 and April 11 through 13 in Bastrop's landmark playhouse. Rehearsals begin immediately primarily on weekday evenings and Saturdays as needed for this character role.
