TAMARA – Female, 30-50. Crazy and irrational mother. Non-malicious, but has a short fuse, and is quite erratic. Supporting.

JUBILEE – Female adult, any age – Humble and bumbling assistant to Tamara. Very much frustrated with Tamara’s antics, but fears to show it. Supporting.

OFFICER – Adult male or female, any age – NY’s Finest. A police officer who takes her/his cases seriously. Supporting.

GUARD – Male adult, any age – Guard at the Museum of Modern Art. Guard at an Off-Broadway theatre. Supporting. Double cast with Romeow?

PLAYER ROMEOW – Male adult, any age – Actor who plays the role of Romeow in a play that the characters go see. Speaks French. Supporting. Double cast with Guard?

PLAYER DROOLIET – Female adult, any age – Actress who plays the role of Drooliet in a play that the characters go see. Speaks French. Supporting.

CLAUDIA – Female adult, 30-50 – Has lots of pent up emotion, and takes it out in maniacal ways. Sister to HQ. Supporting.

MOM – Female adult, 30-50 – Birth mother to lead character, Lilia. Very smart, and has been through a major struggle. Supporting.

Antoinette (Lead): Female, 6-10
Half ghost, half real, stuck in limbo for over a century. Died of a botched lobotomy in the late 1800s. MUST have good memorization skills and an advanced vocabulary. Needs to be cute but also very, very creepy.

Ghost Girls (Supporting): Female, 12-16
Georgia, Melanie, and Kaeli, the bickering crew of three ghosts who help her try to solve her brother’s murder, are Jade’s only “friends.” Need to be able to develop background characters into entertaining comic relief.

Miss Theresa (Supporting): Female, 30-50
Jade’s primary caretaker and the family maid. Initially believes that Jade is insane like everyone else does, but later realizes that she may have been right about the murder in the family’s past. Must be maternal but not too affectionate.

Pearl (Supporting): Female, 10-14
Antoinette’s sister. Alternately affectionate and cold with her sibling, causing her already damaged mind extreme trauma.

Julian (Supporting): Male, 9-12
Jade’s twin brother, dies of a mysterious stab wound when they are both ten.

Jade’s Mother (Supporting): Female, 30-50
Detached and unsympathetic to her daughter’s plight. Tries to forget what happened to her son by not letting any mention of his murder be made.

Jade’s Father (Supporting): Male, 30-50
Seems to not care about Julian’s murder, or Jade’s insanity. Sarcastic and passive-aggressive.
