Something new is coming to the Overtime in 2016 - OTTV! The Overtime is kicking off its new endeavor with 2 great new serial stage shows - Alex Coy & Andrew Moritz's The Secret Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Michael Burger's Rift Riders.

Both shows need strong core casts that can commit long term to seeing these series through, as well as supporting actors to fill the rotating guest starring roles for an episode or two.

Important info: The shows will run from 8 pm till 10 pm the first 3 months, and then be from 10 pm till midnight the following 3 months. Both shows debut on January 22, rehearsals will begin in mid December.

Each episode will run for 2 weekends.



Auditions will be held Monday November 30th with callbacks on December 2nd. If unable to audition on the 30th, please contact Michael Burger, Alex Coy, or Andrew Moritz to schedule an audition on the 2nd.  (CTXLT note: Click to go to the webform for contacts at the Overtime Theatre site.)

Please have a monologue prepared, preferably two contrasting ones. We will also be doing cold reads from the scripts. Resume appreciated, but not required.

Details: 
Synopsis:  Jonah Foster is having the worst day of his life when he has the misfortune of being abducted by aliens.  What could be worse?  The aliens that abducted him are nowhere to be found.  Now Jonah, along with his fellow abductees, need to figure out how to gain control of the ship and get themselves home.

Auditions are by cold reading.
Characters Needed:
Jonah Foster:  Male, Lead, long term commitment, 20s-30s. A smart ass, but with a good heart. Bill Murry type.
Rainya: Female, Lead, long term commitment, 20s-30s.  Socially awkward and extremely intelligent.
Jira - Female, Lead, long term commitment, 20s-30s.  Military washout.  Should have good movement ability.
Broke - Female, Lead, long term commitment, any age.  Ship's computer.
Commander Braxton, recurring.  Single minded, military background.  Willing to do whatever necessary to complete his/her mission.
Various ensemble roles - multiple ages/gender. Some are one-off characters. Some will return for a 2nd episode.
