13 is a musical with music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown and a book by Dan Elish and Robert Horn.
Following a move from New York City to small-town Indiana, young Evan Goldman grapples with his parents' divorce, prepares for his impending Bar Mitzvah, and navigates the complicated social circles of a new school.
Evan Goldman is plucked from his fast paced, preteen New York City life and plopped into a sleepy Indiana town following his parents divorce. Surrounded by an array of simpleminded middle school students, he needs to establish his place in the popularity pecking order. Can he situate himself on a comfortable link of the food chain or will he dangle at the end with the outcasts?!
Auditions will be:

*MONDAY, MARCH 23rd @ 6pm
(Callbacks: March 24th @ 6pm)
Auditions for the band will be *WED. MARCH 25th @ 6pm

AUDITION INFORMATION (for actors)
Dates of auditions and callbacks are listed above. Those auditioning will be reading, singing and dancing and should come prepared to sing up to 1 minute of a song. They will need to provide either the tracks or be prepared to sing acapella. No pianist will be available. Also, those auditioning must be 10 years or older to audition.
AUDITION INFORMATION (for the band)
Date and time of audition is listed above. There are parts for guitar, electric guitar, bass, drums , auxiliary percussion and keyboard. Parts will be available to pick up starting March 10th at VLA; that will be the audition piece for band. Those auditioning must be students.
