Let the mischief and merriment begin in the summer reimagining of Shakespeare’s most popular romantic comedy. In just one night, four magical stories are cleverly woven together: the marriage of the Athenian duke to the Amazon queen; the battle of the king and queen of the fairies; the follies of four lovers in the forest; and the hilarious antics of amateur actors who must stage a most important play. Enter a vibrant world where fairies fly overhead, a donkey bursts into song, and irresistible spells make your perspective on love turn on a dime. City Theatre’s summer production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be a fantastic theatrical experience you don’t want to miss!

Time: Saturday, March 26, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Monday, March 28, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Ten minute slots by appointment. Call backs March 29, if needed, with show dates June 24 – July 17 and rehearsals beginning in April.
 
Needed: No prepared monologue is needed. Readings from the show will be performed so be familiar with the script. Sides will be available on the website the week before auditions. You may be asked to stay beyond the ten minute appt. time. Please bring headshot and resume and be prepared for lots of physical movement at the audition. Casting all roles.
