Children: Short contemporary monologue (up to 1 minute in length) comedic or dramatic, with a standard British accent

For the roles of the Citizens: In addition to the one-minute monologue please also prepare a traditional Christmas carol (up to 1 minute in length). Accompanist will be provided.
Actors who play instruments are strongly encouraged to audition. Please indicate on audition form what instruments you play, and please be prepared to bring said instrument to callbacks upon request.

Characters
The role of Ebenezer Scrooge has already been cast. Additionally, the roles of Mrs. Fezziwig, Mrs. Dilber, Martha Crachit, Belinda Crachit, the Young Wife, and Little Fan have been cast.
Available youth roles include: Tim Crachit, Peter Crachit, and other ensemble roles

Available adult roles include: Bob Crachit, Mrs. Crachit, Fred, Mr. Fezziwig, Young Scrooge, Belle, the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, and a variety of other ensemble roles
Additionally, we are seeking 4 adults (2m/2f) to portray the Citizens, who serve as the narrators of the play as well as a singing quartet. Actors who can play musical instruments are of particular interest for these as well as other roles.
All ethnicities are encouraged to audition.
