Doctuh Mistuh is proud to present the Regional Premier of SILENCE! The Musical June 19-July 13 at Salvage Vanguard Theatre. This laugh-out-loud satire of the Academy Award-winning The Silence of the Lambs features razor-sharp wit and inspired musical numbers like "If I Could Smell Her Cunt", "Put the Fucking Lotion in the Basket" and "Are You About a Size 14?" Go see it! (Or Dr Lecter will eat your liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti)
Doctuh Mistuh Productions is currently seeking submissions for the following roles:
Hannibal Lecter - Clarice Starling - Ardelia Mapp - Dr. Chilton - Dream Clarice - Dream Hannibal
Audition Material - Vocal: 32 bars of a musical theatre selection displaying not only vocal quality and ability, but also acting. You can access examples of the music from the show on-line to get the style. Acting: A short monologue (60-90 seconds). The show is a spoof of the film, but should be played straight. You may use material from the film or musical for your audition.
Rehearsals will take place from May 24 thru June 18, Monday thru Thursday evenings, Saturday afternoons and some Sunday evenings.
Performances run from June 19th thru July 13th at the Salvage Vanguard Theatre, Thursdays-Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 5 pm. There may be one added Wednesday performance and also a matinee or midnight show during the final two weeks of the run.
All performers will be compensated.
