Southwest Theatre Productions is holding auditions by appointment only for the 2013 Pulitzer finalist Rapture, Blister, Burn by Gina Gionfriddo, directed by Fritz Ketchum. Performances will be at the Salvage Vanguard Studio.

Cast List:

  • Catherine (early 40’s) - Smart, attractive professor and feminist author. Strong not cold.
  • Gwen (early 40’s) - Attractive wife to Don. Outwardly positive, hides disappointment.
  • Avery (20’s) - Smart college student held back by poor choices. Fiesty. 
  • Alice (60’s-70’s). - Catherine’s mother. Funny. Speaks her mind. 


Rehearsals begin 12/1, Sunday through Thursday evenings. Break from 12/24 and 1/1. 
Performances will be at the Salvage Vanguard Studio, 1/22 – 1/25 and 1/28 – 1/31.

Auditions are October 18th from 1-5 pm at Synergy Dance Studio, 3425 Bee Cave Road, Westlake Hills.
