Rock of Ages is a jukebox musical set in 1987 on the Sunset Strip, where an aspiring rocker,Drew, and a small-town girl, Sherrie, fall in love while chasing their dreams. Their romance, along with the fate of a legendary rock club called the Bourbon Room, is threatened when German developers plan to tear it down. The story follows the group of misfits and rockers who must band together to save the club through a series of 1980s rock anthems.
