A renowned professor of English having spent years studying and teaching the metaphysical sonnets of John Donne has been diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer. During her illness as a prize patient in an experimental chemotherapy program, she struggles with doctors and family ultimately reassessing her life with such profundity, grace and humor that she transforms herself and all those around her.

Needed: No prepared monologue. Sides will be performed and sent before your audition date. Please be familiar with the show and characters, and plan to stay a few minutes after your time as you may audition with others. Please bring headshot, resume, and all possible conflict dates.
