The Toxic Avenger is a musical by Joe DiPietro and David Bryan of Bon Jovi and is based on the cult film series of the same title from Troma films. The story follows Melvin Ferb, whom two hoodlums throw into a barrel of toxic waste; he emerges badly disfigured but possessing superhero strength.

Doctuh Mistuh Productions is still accepting submissions for our upcoming production in Austin of The Toxic Avenger. The roles are for the two rock sings thugs (known in the script as Black Dude and White Dude). The singers must have strong acting chops and be able to sing in a high rock belt. We are asking for you to submit links to demo reels by March 5th, 2025 to doctuhmistuh@gmail.com.

Note: No more than a one-minute cut of a rock song is needed, but feel free to submit more.

The Toxic Avenger plays July 25 - August 9 , 2025 at the Austin Playhouse.
