Press Junket: Post Game

Scheduled for Austin's "Short Fringe" at FronteraFest 2025, this interactive play casts the AUDIENCE as members of the press and offers them a chance to interview a baseball team during a post-game press conference. During the first 20 minutes of the performance, the director will facilitate fielding questions from the audience and the cast will improvise answers to the audience's questions. Then, the final 3 minutes of the performance will be a scripted scene.

Rehearsals will be minimal, but there is a mandatory tech rehearsal and then there will be at least one, and possibly as many as three, performances that are each 25 minutes long. (See dates below.) Fresh, funny, and surprising, each performance of Press Junket offers guests a one-of-a-kind experience.Mandatory attendance at Hyde Park Theatre:
Tech rehearsal: Mon., Jan. 13, 9:00 pm-10:15 pm
Performance #1 (guaranteed): Fri., Jan. 17, evening, exact time TBD
Possible performance #2: Sat., Jan. 18, evening, exact time TBD
Possible performance #3: Tues., Feb. 11 through Sat., Feb. 15, evening, exact day/time TBD
