Please sign up to audition for WCT's A Midsummer Night's Dream HERE (bottom of linked page) - you will need to be present for the full audition time on Saturday, July 27, 2024. (1:00 - 5:00 p.m.) Feel free to bring snacks since you'll be there awhile!

Auditions are for individuals 18 or older.

Everyone will be asked to perform the same monologue-- link here. Joe, the director, asks for everyone to be as off-book as possible, ideally memorized. Everyone will perform the monologue and then we will take the monologue and turn it into movement. The director would like to see what you come up with if asked to perform the monologue without words. Be dressed to move- we would suggest long shorts or sweatpants as there will probably be some floor work.

Rehearsals are usually 3 - 4 weekday evenings (6:30 - 9:30 p.m.) and Saturday rehearsals (2 - 5 p.m.); however, the rehearsal schedule depends on the production demands and director, so it is subject to change.

The show runs from September 12th to 20th, 2024. You will need to be available for all performances and tech rehearsals (Sept. 8th - 11th).
