The most magical of musical journeys written by the legendary Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine featuring a bewitching collection of classic children’s characters on a rollicking romp through a “once upon a time” kingdom. A tapestry of wonderfully woven fables that brims with award-winning music and lyrics, this fractured fairy tale transports you to a land where there are giants in the sky, witches next door, curses reversed, and of course, wishes granted for your happily ever afters.
INTO THE WOODS Auditions
Dates: June 25 - 26, 2024
Time: Tuesday and Wednesday. 6:30 – 9:30 pm.
Performers assigned in one-hour groups.
Where: Genesis Creative Collective. 1507 Wilshire Blvd. On the campus of Genesis Presbyterian Church.
Needed: Have 16 – 20 bars of music prepared that fit in the style of the show. Readings from the show will also be performed, so be familiar with the story and characters. Please bring headshot and resume.
This is an open call to all actors. Actors of any race, sexuality orientation, gender expression, ability, and age are encouraged to audition. Casting all roles.
Show dates September 13 - 29, with rehearsals beginning the first of August.
