Auditions for a role in The Nevermind People with Overtime Theater on May 04 through May 05.Saturday, May 4th, 2024 1 PM – 4 PM
Sunday, May 5th 1 PM – 4 PM
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
Actors will be expected to cold read sides from the script. A prepared monologue is not mandatory.
CAST OF CHARACTERS:
Nurse Carol (30’s to (50’s) – level headed, even-keeled nurse who becomes mentally affected from exposure to Mr. Wozniak
Roger (mid 20’s to mid 30’s) – nurse in the hospital, good guy, kind of the “does things by the book” type
Mr. Wozniak (mid 30’s to mid 50’s) – victim of a bus accident, stable but begins to weaken as Laynerd begins to absorb his energy.
Dr. Shawn Phillips (mid 30’s to early 40’s) – unfamiliar with Laynerd’s case. Takes him on once he realizes that Laynerd was never reassigned after Dr. Kovak’s retirement. Dating Piper, in love with her, would like to be public about their relationship.
Mr./Ms. Joe/Josie/Josephine Laynerd (30-50) – Comatose patient who has been isolated from other people. Begins to absorb their energy, has ability to read their minds
Dr. Piper McNay (mid 30’s) – equally in love with Dr. Phillips, though a little more guarded with her feelings, not ready to make the relationship public.
Chelsea/Charlie (30’s to 50’s) – receptionist at the hospital
Attendant (25+) – Hospice care center attendant
Harry/Harriett (60’s to 80’s ) – man/woman in hospice care center who has valuable information for Dr. Phillips, though he/she is not the person he is there to see.
Dr. Oscar Kovak (60’s to 70’s) – former doctor to Wozniak, retired, no longer able to speak due to Wozniak sucking out his mental capacity.
Agent Brown (mid 30’s to 50) – male or female, agent investigating a friend of Dr. Phillips, who has been arrested for hacking their system for information on Kovak.

Fridays & Saturdays at 8 PM
One Thursday Pay-What-You-Will performance at 8PM TBA
One Sunday Matinée performance at 3 PM TBA
COMPENSATION:
All roles and crew are volunteer positions.
Our Love Bucket of patron donations will be split equally at the end of the run.
