Hearts like Fists

A superhero noir comedy about the dangers of love. The city's heart beats with fear: Doctor X is sneaking into apartments and injecting lovers with a lethal poison. Lisa's heart beats with hope: Now that she's joined the elite Crimefighters, maybe she can live a life with meaning. And every beat of Peter's wounded heart brings him closer to death, but he's designing an artificial replacement that will never break. Can the Crimefighters stop Doctor X? Do Peter and Lisa have a chance at love? And who is the girl with a face like a plate?

Auditions for Austin Community College's production of Hearts Like Fists by Adam Szymkowicz, directed by Marcus McQuirter

All are welcome to audition. You do not need to be an ACC student to audition.
Roles are uncompensated
Rehearsals: April 30-June 6 2024, Mon-Thurs evenings
Performances: Friday-Saturday 7:30 pm, Sunday 2 pm. June 7th-23rd, 2024

Auditions:
• Please submit a video audition of the suggested materials :
• 1 minute monologue (comedic).
• Please slate at the beginning of your recording by stating your name and the title of the piece you are performing.
• Headshot and Resume are appreciated but optional.

Audition Materials are due 2/16
Callbacks will take place at the ACC Highland Campus, building 2000, room 2.2505 at 7pm on February 28th.
