a part of it
by jkjk

Jan. 25 - Feb. 02

a part of it is the story of a ghost named Tommy from 1999, who confronts his best friend Jackie, in the present. It’s a dark comedy with song that centers two teenagers, the ghost Tommy from the past and Jackie’s daughter Val in 2023. It is a piece about self-harm and queer identity. It is about the struggles and the joys in life, and it a little love letter to the theatre.

jkjk is married couple and creative collaborators punk rocker khattieQ and experimental theatre artist Jenny Larson-Quiñones. Our mission: We write and produce live theater performances that capture the Queer experience while exploring the heart of the human condition by centering joy, foolishness, and social justice.

jkjk invites performers to audition for a reading of their new work-in-progress a part of it
