Godspell

A small group of people help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and hefty doses of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, is employed as the story of Jesus' life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life.

Drumroll please——Godspell! Directed by Peter Lopez and choreographed by Stephanie Figueroa, Godspell will hit the stage January 19-March 10, 2024. Auditions for this musical will be December 10th & 11th starting at 6:30 pm, at the Aurora Arts Theatre located at 5635 Everhart Road. The audition will comprise a vocal selection and a reading.

Audition Information

- Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill out an audition form.
- You will sing a selection from the show (taught on site).
- Perform readings from the script (sides chosen by the Director).
