The Overtime Theater presents All About Christmas Eve written by Whitney Ryan Garrity and directed by Whitney Marlett.
AUDITION DATES:Saturday, September 30, 2023 1 pm – 4 pmm Sunday, October 1, 2023 4 pm – 7 pm
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:Auditions will consist of cold reads from the script. Video auditions will also be accepted.
ROLES AVAILABLE:
It’s time to channel your inner stock characters from the 30’s!! All the guys are wanna begangster types with the exception of Lt. Avery Donner who is the ultimate grizzled detective(sort of like a mix between Columbo and Sam Spade).
Tessie Tannebaum – Eve’s secretary. Keeps the party going and on track-lots of audience interaction.
Ivy Sullivan – with her sister, Holly Sullivan has a vaudeville act and is a big flirt.
Holly Sullivan – Ivy’s sister and performing partner. Is in a bad mood during most of the party dueto a bad review.
Nick Bailey – crazy about Holly but tends to get distracted by horse racing. Handsome, but not the most polished guy.
Jack Delancey – Makes everyone think he’s a tough guy. In reality, he owns a deli.
Rudy Morton – Crazy about Ivy but he’s too shy and broke to say anything to her.
Lt. Avery Donner – your typical wrinkled overcoat wearing detective.
COMPENSATION: All roles and crew are volunteer positions.Our Love Bucket of patron donations will be split equally at the end of the run.
