(via Esther's Follies)The Esther's Follies show combines short comedy sketches, monologues, musical production numbers, and magic illusions. Political satire comes up often in the show, as we parody the news and cultural events. We have been called the SNL of Texas, and the show is always fast-paced.

 

Esther's Follies on Sixth Street, Austin's #1 comedy and magic theater since 1977, is holding auditions for male & female performers with comedy, musical, stage, and light dance experiences.

Esther's Follies show rehearsals are in the daytime on Tuesdays and Wednesdays every week, from noon to 3 pm, and before shows on Thursdays and Fridays from 6-7 pm. All performers need to attend rehearsals to be in the shows. Pay starts at $600 weekly.

Auditions will be held in early August, from 2:30-4 pm, or upon appointment. Please send resume and any reels or link to your work to efauditions@gmail.com, and to tickets@esthersfollies.com.
