Magik Theatre is holding an open call via video submission for non-equity, adult actors for their upcoming summer production of 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙛: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙮 𝙅𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡.

Magik Theatre is holding an open call via video submission for non-equity, adult actors for their upcoming summer production of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. Especially seeking strong pop-rock vocalists and those with stage combat experience.

The contract runs from May 30 - Aug 6, 2023. Pay is $425/week, plus a monthly parking stipend. Travel and housing provided to out of town actors.

The rehearsal and performance schedule can be found HERE – please note that we are unable to accommodate any conflicts for this show.

TO BE CONSIDERED: please prepare two of the following cuts from the show and submit a self-tape– via unlisted YouTube link– along with your headshot and resume to casting@magiktheatre.org no later than Sunday, April 2.

Each link will take you to a Google Doc that will have the lyrics and timestamps for the section you'll need to sing, as well as a link to the appropriate accompaniment video on YouTube which will start the video right before where you'll begin singing. To learn the melody for these cuts, have a listen to the original cast album (sheet music is available only by request, please email casting@magiktheatre.org for this accomodation).

You will be considered for multiple roles and not strictly the character(s) that sing these particular songs. We’re looking to get an idea of your vocal quality, range, storytelling ability, etc. and feel that these cuts give you a chance to show us what you've got!
