Woman Managing Her Anxiety
by FronteraFest

Nov. 18 - Nov. 19 (2022)

WOMAN MANAGING HER ANXIETY is a mostly one, sometimes two or three, person theatrical experience that incorporates dance and movement to explore the life of an anxious woman. It tells the story of how her anxiety begins, and the methods she uses to manage her uncomfortable feelings. It’s a show about how we deal with our inconvenient feelings and how shame and cultural pressures can lead to us internalizing harmful messages. And how, in order to escape the spiral of anxiety, we must face our fear and make it our friend.
