Lakeway - Deadline November 11
TexARTS, located in Lakeway, TX, welcomes video submissions for the upcoming production of The Last Five Years. Local, nonunion performers who are 18 or older are encouraged to audition. TexARTS is committed to non-traditional casting and values diversity in all of its forms. We greatly encourage actors of all ethnicities, gender identities, as well as performers with disabilities to audition.

Rehearsal and Performance Schedule:
First Rehearsals start on January 16, 2021.
Performances: February 10 – February 26, 2022. Eleven performances are scheduled. Shows at 7:30pm on Thursdays - Saturdays and 2pm on Sundays.
Rehearsals will be held weekdays during the evenings and during the daytime on weekends at TexARTS in Lakeway. The show will perform indoors and in-person at the TexARTS Kam and James Morris Theatre, 2300 Lohman’s Spur, STE 160, Austin, TX 78734

Catherine Hiatt (25 - 35)
Cathy arcs from an ambitious, fresh-faced woman in a new relationship to one stunned by a betrayal and a divorce that she is only beginning to understand.
Vocal range top: D#5
Vocal range bottom: F3
Jamie Wellerstein (25 - 35)
Jamie arcs from an ambitious guy with a dazzling career on a promising first date to someone who is blinded by success and ego. He is lovable yet makes choices that sabotage his own happiness.

Submission Information:
Please prepare an excerpt of a song from the show that is one to two minutes (around 32 bars) in length.
Please film your audition, beginning with a slate, in front of a simple background, with no backlighting, and little ambient noise. If possible, use a secondary audio source to play the accompaniment music so that it is audible in the tape.
