The Esther's Follies show combines short comedy sketches, monologues, musical production numbers, and magic illusions. Political satire comes up often in the show, as we parody the news and cultural events. We have been called the SNL of Texas, and the show is always fast-paced.

Esther's Follies on Sixth Street, Austin's #1 comedy and magic theater since 1977, is holding auditions for Female Performers with comedy, musical, stage, and light dance experiences. Comedy sketch/songwriters are also needed. 

Esther's Follies show rehearsals are in the daytime on Tuesdays and Wednesdays every week, from noon to 3 pm, and before shows on Thursdays and Fridays from 6-7 pm. All performers need to attend rehearsals to be in the shows. 

Auditions will be held in late August and early September, from  2:30-4 pm, or upon appointment. Please send resume and reels to efauditions@gmail.com, and to tickets@esthersfollies.com.
