The ricochet of bullets breaks the hush of academia’s ivory halls and four students and a teacher are trapped in a classroom. Attempts to remain calm are shattered by each new wave of terror and tension coils to the point of asphyxia. good friday tackles millennial feminism and the intersection of gun violence and sexual violence.
New Manifest Theatre and The VORTEX join together to present the Texas premiere of good friday by Kristiana Rae Colón. Directed by Simone Alexander.
Auditions Saturday, September 7, noon - 3 p.m.. at the Vortex, Austin.
Performances at The VORTEX February 28-March 14, 2019 (3 weeks).
Seeking courageous female-identifying actors from 18-30 age range, open to all ethnicities; people of color strongly
encouraged to audition. Artists will receive a performer stipend.
Please prepare a 1-2-minute contemporary monologue.
