Post-apocalyptic future. After a nuclear event destroyed much of the country, militias who had lost faith in the government took control of their respective areas. As the world rebuilds, several different factions of rebels vie for control.
The central government stepped in to restore order and balance, and now all traditional weapons have been collected and destroyed. However, rumor has it that a weapons cache exists that has been hidden from those in power. Hard evidence comes to light that it is more than a rumor, and our heroes’ faction sets a plan in motion to find this foothold for control.
Thus, our story begins.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script, as well as a small section of fight choreography. Monologues are welcome, but not necessary. Please bring a headshot and resume, and come ready to move (no open-toed shoes or heels).
Please note, all actors cast will be required to participate in extensive fight choreography throughout the course of the show. Previous stage combat experience is a plus, but not necessary. What’s most important is that cast members be willing to take direction and learn quickly.
CHARACTERS
Note: All available roles are open to any gender or ethnicity.
*Helen McKann – The Audience’s POV character. Charismatic, driven and impulsive, she has become the leader of a resistance militia. She is powerful, but thoughtless. (Precast)
*Jim Gable – The conscience. He is a prominent figure in the resistance, and is very pragmatic and cautious. He is also a very skilled and nimble fighter. (Precast)
Jimenez – A resistance fighter. Very eager and a natural fighter, but inexperienced.
Blair – A resistance fighter. Older and world-weary, with a latent passion that presents itself when provoked.
Darby – A resistance fighter. Comic flare, but only as a very thin veil for their fear. Very skilled fighter.
Vaughn – A resistance fighter. Stoic, and with an unconventional body type.
Rask – The leader of a rival militia. Cocky, but with good reason. Very threatening fighter.
Sato – A rival fighter. Mildly sadistic and unpredictable.
Kaplan – A rival fighter. Impatient, both for change and for action.
Ensemble – government agents, bar patrons, guards. (May be doubled by actors playing Rask, Sato, and Kaplan)
