It’s December 24, 1941, and America is going to war. So is Dennis Sanders, of the Sanders Family Singers. Join Pastor Mervin Oglethrope and the rest of the Sanders Family as they send Dennis off with hilarious, and touching stories along with twenty-five Southern Gospel Christmas favorites.

Auditions: Saturday, Sept. 8 @ 11:00 a.m., and Monday, Sept. 10 @ 6:00.
The heartwarming, hilarious Sanders family is returning to the Point Theatre. Plays November 16 - December 2, 2018.
Setting: Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church on Dec. 24, 1941, performing over twenty-five Southern Gospel Songs, classic Christmas music, as well as bringing their stories of faith, family, and old-fashioned fun for all ages. Scripts are available for check out in the box office.
CASTING 4 males, 3 females: MERVIN OGLETHORPE - pastor of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, early 30s BURL SANDERS - father, 40s VERA - mother, 40s STANLEY - uncle, 40s DENNIS and DENISE - twins, 20s JUNE - sister, mid-20s Needed: Musicians (guitar, fiddle, banjo, harmonica,etc.)
Singers ( music is not difficult)
