Unhappy Campers
by Overtime Theater

Sep. 01 - Sep. 02 (2018)

There’s a killer on the loose at Camp Sunrise.  And possibly another killer.  And likely another one, too.  And a vampire, a mummy, and other things that go bump in the night.  Will our plucky campers make it through the woods alive? Or will they end up the next victims of the monsters that lurk in the shadows?  In the grand tradition of summer camp movies about teenagers played by non-teen actors, The Overtime Theater brings you the Halloween monster-flick comedy Unhappy Campers.

Auditions for Unhappy Campers by William M. Razavi

Directed by  Emily Fitzgerald

Run:  October 26 – November 17, 2018

Auditions:  September 1 & 2, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm at The Overtime Theater, San Antonio

A note for auditioners:  The characters are teens, the actors should not be – we are actively seeking adults to play teenagers! All types of people are welcome to audition.  That said, we want actors 21 and up; please do not audition if you actually are a teenager. It is a female-centric play, with six very different female characters, so we want six very different female actors to fill the roles!

All auditions will be cold readings from the script, which is available for preview upon request.  Headshots and resumes are welcome but not required. Some auditions may require physical action, such as McAnally and Betty.  All actors will be required, in the play, to run – by which we mean scurry in a funny way from one entrance to another.

Please contact the director at emfo@satx.rr.com for more information.
