Here’s some background about the show:

This show is one of our most popular shows and had sold out all its 8-show runs in the 3 years we did it.

Two out of the 3 past shows had an all-minority cast, and the 3rd one had two non-POC in the cast.  This one will have all POC as well.  It’s fast-paced, audience interactive, funny and poignant.  The order of the 60 plays are determined by the audience shouting out the number they want.

Ticket prices = $base plus your dice roll at the door (roll of 6 = half price tix!)

Casting Call

 Lucky Chaos would like to invite you to join the cast of the upcoming Lucky Chaos production of 30 Plays in 60 Minutes in Sept!  This is an all POC cast – looking for performers of color!

Audition Date:

Thursday, 6/28 from 7pm to 9pm

Saturday, 6/30 from 4pm to 6pm

Venue: Motion Media Center, 2200 Tillery St.

Half of the cast have been pre-cast.  There are 4 spots remaining, we are primarily looking for female actors of color, and one male actor of color.   We are interested in artists with acting (theater or film) background, and proficiency in at least one other performance art (such as, improvising, dance, singing, circus arts, etc.)

Performance Dates:

Sat and Sun (9/8, 9/9, 9/15, 9/16)

(We also have the space for the preceding Fridays included in our rental, so we can discuss as a team whether we want to do the Fridays (9/7 and 9/14) as well to make a total of 6 shows).

Rehearsals:

July – every other week (1st and 3rd week, on a Sat/Sun)

August – twice a week (of which one will be weeknight (Tuesday?)  and one on weekend

Some compensation, plus share of net proceeds.
