SummerStock Austin is considering casting for two of the following: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Sister Act, Bye Bye Birdie, Oklahoma (75th anniversary year), Les Miserables. We will select the titles and we may offer first round acceptances for principal roles. There will be another round of auditions and callbacks in March.

Summer Stock Austin, a program for college and high school students, will be hosting preliminary principal call auditions on December 19th and 27th at the Long Center.

Preliminary Principal Auditions

When: Choose December 19th or 27th 

Where: At the Long Center in the Rollins theatre.

What to Prepare:

*2 contrasting songs appropriate for your voice range (approximately 16 bars for ballads and 32 bars for uptempo) 

* 1 contemporary monologue (under 1 minute) 

*There is no dance call in December. You may be asked to show your dance skills during your audition slot and/or to attend the required dance call in March.
