Seen through the experiences of one turbulent American family, "Like Stars, Moonie" explores many manifestations of longing and loss, and the damage that can be done by wounds left unhealed and dreams left unfulfilled.

Auditions will be held September 2nd and 3rd , 2017 from 2-4 pm
.
Performances will run November 17th through December 9th, 2017.


Characters:
Maggie - 18, female. Somewhat rebellious and foul-mouthed, but very intelligent, and has a strong sense of loyalty.
Michael - 40s, male. Warm and obviously loving, though he visibly carries a heavy emotional burden.
Lori - 40s, female. Tightly-wound and overprotective, with an apparent effort to dispel that image. Former artist.

All ethnicities are welcome and encouraged.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Prepared monologues are welcome. 


Please arrive on time, bring a headshot and resume, and come prepared to read with multiple scene partners.
